Think of your body’s stem cells as a type of naturally occurring repair system. With unique regenerative capabilities, stem cells are on the frontier of advanced medical care and can be used safely to help restore your body’s normal function from of a variety of conditions, including the repair and restoration of the tissue of your joints.

At Choice Restorative Medicine, our Medical team may prescribe the use of stem cells for the non-surgical treatment and repair to help with arthritis, including the knees, hips, elbows, and shoulders.

In our practice, we may also use stem cells to treat chronic tendinitis, bursitis, and also repair ligament damage.

Once introduced into an area of the body, the stem cells are flagged by the damaged tissue to initiate repairs. With its regenerating ability, your tissue can help to restore your joint function and mobility.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) can be produced from your own blood. This type of plasma contains many factors that can be essential for healing and the restoration of cells.

In this type of treatment, a small amount of your own blood is removed and placed in a centrifuge to separate it into its many components, one of which is PRP. The PRP is then re-injected into a specific area to begin the regeneration process.

PRP is used in our practice to help treat chronic arthritis and tendinitis, as well as bursitis and joint repair
